Church of the Covenant Welcomes You!

Picture
We are a vibrant community of people brought together around the example and vision of Jesus Christ to:
  • explore questions of faith together
  • be in community with one another
  • value children and families
  • welcome all people as children of God, including lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people.
  • worship God by doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God.

Join us at 9:15AM on Sundays for Bible study, choir or children and youth Christian education.  Coffee and tea are available in Bates Hall from 9:00AM on.

Worship begins at 10:30AM and normally lasts about an hour.   A typical worship service includes organ music, prayers, hymns, telling the Bible story with children, scripture reading, a sermon, a choir piece, and sharing our prayers of concern and celebration.  Communion is usually served on the first Sunday of each month as well as other occasions during the church year.  All are invited to participate.

Children are welcome in the worship service, however we also provide childcare for the younger children throughout the morning, supervised by our expert childcare provider.

All are encouraged to join us for an informal time for greeting in the sanctuary after the service.  We would like to get to know you. Coffee and tea are available downstairs in Bates Hall.

Adult Education classes or discussions are scheduled to begin approximately 15 minutes after the service is over.

Our building is wheelchair accessible and we offer hearing assistance devices in the sanctuary to work with or without a hearing aid.
