All-Ages Service

Lent is a season of spiritual vitality and renewal. It is a time to move past some of life’s daily distractions and difficulties to draw near to the sacred. It is a gift of 40 days to seek the Holy Spirit’s presence with more intentionality and creativity as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Through the journey of these days―through silence, reflection, contemplation, listening, questioning, singing―through giving up or taking on―it is our prayer that your mind, body, and spirit would find restoration, revitalization, and renewal in the foundational love of God.

Join us this season as we try something new. As we journey through the wilderness with Jesus to grow closer to God in community, we will consider what it means to embody being seeds. Our scriptures are replete with references to how seeding, sowing, reaping, growing, and tending the earth are linked to the ways of God. Right now – given the chaos in our nation and world – life can feel as if we are struggling in the depths. Like seeds seeking light, water, and nourishment, we long to find the spiritual practices, teachings, and practical actions to emerge into justice, love, and vitality. Join us weekly as we engage our texts and lives to see how the Spirit might be inviting us remember that we are seeds. Join us in-person or online via Zoom Sunday mornings, on Ash Wednesday, and for Holy Week.
