Boston is a city that attracts a host of undergraduate and graduate students as well as young professionals because of its strong connections to centers of business and education. Life Alive is a group that gathers at least monthly for food and fellowship along with the intent for community building and faith-focused conversation. In recent years, this group has hosted retreats and local outings around Boston. Newcomers and friends of friends are always welcome.

To Church of the Covenant the term "church family" perfectly describes the depth of life relationships that develop between members of the same church. People who attend the same church not only gather there on Sundays; they also live their lives as a unit, much like a family. You all have been such a family to us, and we want to say thank you for always being there for all of us and being a loving family to us. I have been very emotional about not being able to be here over the summer and being with you all. However, I want you all to know how much we
have enjoyed our time here and how much we have loved every second with you all. We can say coming to church we felt so welcomed, and this church is one of the reasons we got through our semesters here in Boston. The joy of seeing all your faces Sunday morning, and the wonderful messages. We really do appreciate all the loving things you all have done for us—the brunches, the talks, checking in on us, we really do appreciate it so much.
